There is a mix of by far mostly vintage seed beads with a combined African/Asian/North American pedigree, dating from roughly 21 to 38 years ago. There are some newer beads as well, and very few brand new ones.

These necklaces feature high-quality 49-strand jewelry wire that will stay super-strong as you gyrate in your living room, practicing for the next festival/faire. There are also a mix of alloy silvertone findings, like wire guards, crimp covers, and most importantly, my favorite (non-magnetic) clasp that makes putting on a bracelet easy, if you choose to wrap it around your wrist. All of these necklace strands could fit over a reasonably-sized head, but you're a hippy, not a rube. Save your coif and use the clasp!
